Festival de Bomba y Plena

A vibrant, free community festival honoring Afro-Puerto Rican cultural heritage through traditional rhythms, dances, and public storytelling. Produced by the Afro Borinken Roots Performing Group, the open-air lineup highlights live sets from D'Pleneros, Los Capullitos de Alelí, JACAREO, and Miamibloco. A major highlight is the interactive "bombazo," which actively invites the audience to join the circle, alongside artisan craft booths and family activities.
