This competitive equestrian event serves as the grand finale of the open rodeo series. Held in nearby Norco, it is named in honor of legendary 1982 World Champion bull rider Charlie Sampson, the first African-American cowboy to win a professional rodeo world championship. The event showcases skilled cowboys and cowgirls testing their speed, precision, and agility across multiple traditional rodeo disciplines.
