An evening of educational talks, literary readings, and music celebrating wild places and why they matter, featuring a specialized bat theme. The program includes an illuminating discussion on bat biology and conservation efforts in Kentucky by a biologist with the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service. The night also features a welcome reflection on "more-than-human life," topical recitations from various authors read by Joe Manning, and live musical accompaniment from Lacey Guthrie.
