Hosted by the South Edmonton Chess group, this 50/50 Charity Chess Tournament is structured to directly benefit the Gateway Association. Half of every $50 entry fee goes to support the charity, while the remaining half forms a prize pool (awarded 50% for 1st, 30% for 2nd, and 20% for 3rd place). The event features a rapid 15-minute game setup utilizing either a Double Swiss or Round Robin format.
