Pumped UP, Opening Reception

The opening reception for Pumped UP, a solo sculpture exhibition that enhances energy, scale, and color. The artist uses an unexpected bricolage of materials like factory discards, dressmaker's pattern tissue, cones of mill-end fibers, salvaged materials, and found objects. Drawing on a classical art background, the work references, reboots, reframes, and deconstructs iconic examples of historical art while honoring undervalued labor.
