Vancouver Contra Folk Dance

This welcoming indoor community folk dance is fully accessible to all ages and experience levels. The evening features high-energy live acoustic fiddle music by the local band Teapot Tempest. Expert callers walk all attendees through the basic movements before each song begins, meaning you do not need complex footwork or a dedicated dance partner to join in. A brief beginner orientation kicks off the evening to ensure everyone feels comfortable.
